 Hassan Azmi ( BSc Industrial Chemistry) - "I belong from small village of Azamgarh. In my school days I heard about Aligarh Muslim University and when I started investigating then I came to know, the prestige and rich history of this university. In my preparation time people recommended me around 20+ books and I got demotivated. In reality only NCERT books of class 9 and 10 is best for the preparation of  class 11. Life in AMU is very good specially hostel life, In starting somethings are complicated but with time everything gets sorted. Like one incident which happened with me was, one day I was in a dinning mess wearing lower and slippers and one senior scolded me. I was pissed off but with time I understood its a tradition of AMU wearing shoes, jeans, pants and it also improves the quality of life. In hostel there are many facilities like reading room which is open for 16 to 20 hours a day for students to study, common room for indoor games etc."

                                                        

Saad Amjad ( BSc BCA) - " I am from Azamgarh city and during my school days I had a dream to study in a central university and for that Aligarh Muslim University was the best option. When I cracked 11 class entrance exam and got my admission it was one of the best moment of my life. I was very proud to call myself an alig and it also boosted my confidence. AMU gave me a lot of things and it will always be a important part of my life. Sharing room with seniors, everyday gaining knowledge learning new things. I feel lucky to be a part of the Aligarh Muslim University."


  Mohd Sajid ( BA Geography Hons.) - " I am from Azamgarh city and for me being a student of the Aligarh Muslim University is like living a dream. In my childhood I heard many times people talking about AMU and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, society gives a lot of respect to the students of Aligarh Muslim University. Life in AMU is like living in home every facilities is available for student and almost free of cost. AMU provides quality education and platform for all the students and this facilities boost confidence of student to take further step and think about studying in International universities. Thanks to AMU I have many friends from other states of the country. As I am preparing for civil services seniors guided me a lot and they were helpful. The thing that I like the most about AMU is that fees is affordable for all people. Fees of various things studies, dinning fee, hostel fee etc." 
                                     

Mohd Safdar (BTech Petroleum) - " I wanted to be the part of this prestigious university which aims not only in educating people of all background but also is determine in upliftment of the society with its moral and ethics. NCERT is the key to get into any competitive exam and so in AMU. For clearing the entrance test of class 11 AMU you must study from class 9 and 10 books of NCERT and Arihant's general English book for English in any competitive exam. AMU provides great atmosphere for studies and carrier, teachers are supportive and helpful. I heard many things negative about AMU hostel like ragging, seniors misbehaving and I was so nervous when I came to hostel but things never happened with me which I heard and imagined. Seniors were very supportive and helpful, they were like my elder brothers."
